LearnInBox cookie policy

Last updated: April 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Rising Root Technologies LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), operating the LearnInBox platform ("Platform"), uses cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage objects, and similar tracking technologies (collectively, "Cookies") when you visit or interact with our website or application.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Privacy Policy. This Cookie Policy applies globally to all users. Jurisdiction-specific disclosures and rights are set out in Section 7.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application when you visit it. They help the Platform remember your actions and preferences and help us understand usage so we can improve your experience.

Cookies are grouped by duration:

  • Session cookies: temporary files deleted when you close your browser or end your session.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a defined period or until manually deleted.

Cookies are also grouped by source:

  • First-party cookies: set directly by LearnInBox on the `learninbox.com` domain.
  • Third-party cookies: set by integrated providers such as analytics and advertising partners.

2. What cookies do we use?

We use the following cookie categories on the Platform:

  • Strictly Necessary - Required for platform functionality such as authentication, security, session management, and load balancing (examples: session ID, CSRF token, auth token). These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
  • Functional / Preference - Remember settings such as language, time zone, and display preferences. These can be disabled, though some features may be affected.
  • Analytics / Performance - Help us understand navigation and platform usage using anonymized or pseudonymized data (for example Google Analytics, Mixpanel). These can be disabled via Cookie Manager.
  • Marketing / Targeting - Track browsing activity to deliver relevant advertising (for example Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight). Used only with your explicit consent and can be disabled via Cookie Manager.
  • Social media - Enable social sharing and social sign-in features (for example Facebook Login, Google Sign-In). These can be disabled, but social features may not work.

3. How we obtain your consent

3.1 Consent banner

When you first visit our Platform, we display a Cookie Consent Banner that explains our use of Cookies and requests your consent. You can:

  • Accept all cookies (including analytics and marketing).
  • Reject non-essential cookies (using only strictly necessary cookies).
  • Customize preferences by category through our Cookie Manager.

We do not place non-essential cookies before consent is provided. If you take no action, we treat this as no consent for non-essential cookies.

3.2 Withdrawing or changing consent

You may update or withdraw consent at any time using:

  • Cookie Manager:use the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer.
  • Browser settings: block or allow cookie categories directly in your browser configuration.
  • Third-party opt-out tools: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, youradchoices.com, and youronlinechoices.eu.

Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful use. Disabling some cookies may limit access to parts of the Platform.

4. Cookies set by third parties

Third-party providers may place cookies when you use our Platform. Examples include:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics for usage analysis (policies.google.com/privacy).

We do not control third-party cookies directly. Please review each provider's own privacy and cookie policies.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit Do Not Track (DNT) signals. We currently do not alter data collection behavior in response to DNT because no uniform standard has been adopted. If this changes, we will update this policy.
